COAA Award Nominations

We are now accepting nominations for the 2024 COAA Awards! If you know an outstanding individual or organization deserving of recognition, please submit a nomination by Tuesday, March 25th, 2024.

To nominate, please send a bio of the nominee to Wyatt Pugh at [email protected]. Be sure to include:

• Nominee’s full name (with correct spelling)

• Position and jurisdiction

• Local ICC chapter affiliation

Awards will be presented at the May 2024 COAA Conference.

Award Categories:

🔹 COAA Code Official of the Year

Recognizing a code official with at least five years of experience who has demonstrated excellence in their role.

🔹 COAA Lifetime Achievement Award

Honoring a code official nearing retirement who has been an inspiration to others and has made a lasting impact on their community. Preferably, the nominee has 20+ years of service.

🔹 COAA Rising Star Award

Celebrating a code official with at least three years of service who is making significant contributions to code enforcement and demonstrating leadership potential within their jurisdiction, COAA, and/or ICC.

🔹 COAA Chapter of the Year

Awarded to an ICC chapter that has made exceptional efforts in advancing code education, enforcement, and member development.

🔹 Vendor of the Year

Recognizing a vendor who has consistently supported and promoted COAA and its conference beyond just attendance—someone who has gone above and beyond for the organization.
